The Sovereign Islands are an uninhabited rocky outcrop approximately 8km off the south coast of Ireland, the artists built a twenty two metre rope bridge that temporarily linked the gap between the islands for one day on the 29th of November 2012. The work comprises of a series of archival photo prints on aluminum and acrylic, a cyclical DVD 30mins and a 15min HD Film which depicts this brief folly and the strenuous efforts of a team of skilled locals who hoisted the twenty two metre rope bridge between these two uninhabited rocks.
